Introducing Little Luxuries: Ways to Instantly Upgrade Your Home

There’s so much that goes into design. Lighting, textiles, art, furniture, rugs….it’s enough to make your head spin. However, if I’ve learned anything during my time as an interior designer, it’s that it really comes down to the little, personal touches that make a home.

I’ve always believed that a home is more than a place, it’s an extension of yourself, your loves and interests. For me, it’s an over stuffed bookshelf filled with a collection of a trinkets I’ve picked up on travels or in different thrift stores, or floral arrangements in every room in a colorful vase. I call these Little Luxuries. They’re not things you necessarily need but they absolutely help to make your space feel that much more special.
